Learn more about what you can accomplish with the different types of series
BigMarker allows you to organize your webinars and on-demand content into series. With a series, you can have one place to register (the series) which them gives access to some or all of the content nested within it (the webinars). In this article we'll go over the main differences to keep in mind when creating series.
Note: Events and Virtual Events are a different type of series that require a separate license to have access to. For further details, please reach out to your customer success manager.
The different types of series
When creating a series, you'll have a few options: Course, Summit and Itinerary. With regard to registration, the course and summit formats are similar in that they usually copy registration information from the series to the webinars, while an Itinerary series has more options for how registration flows.
Courses & Summits
For courses and summits, the function is nearly the same. By default, when users register for one of these series they will also be registered for all of the webinars that have been added to it. Users visit the landing page of the series, register, then have immediate access to all of the content.
The difference is primarily of landing page design. A course displays the content like a course, showing the webinars in order from top to bottom. Summits on the other hand will display the sessions in more of a grid, giving the user more of a free-form experience. In both cases, users can watch the content in any order.

Itinerary series
On the other hand, Itinerary series have a unique feature with regard to registration. Instead of automatically register users for all of the webinars under it, an itinerary series allows users to pick and choose which specific webinars they want to register for. This is a great option for when you have a lot of content across various different subjects, and your audience may only want information on a small number of sessions.
Or like in the example below you have one piece of content, but presenter in a number of different languages:

Custom series pages
With custom landing pages, you are able to unlock the full potential of the features of your series and webinars. For example, maybe you want to force users to watch videos in a certain order, so one on-demand video must be watched before you unlock the next. And after the user watches all the content, they have the ability to download the certificate of completion from the series. With custom landing pages, you can accomplish exactly that:
With custom landing pages you can use all kinds of features from BigMarker and represent them on the landing page, as well as having complete control over the look and feel of the design of the page. For more information, contact your customer success manager today.
