You can end your webinar before the allotted time, giving you ultimate control over the length of your event.
Manually ending the webinar
There are two ways to end your Webinar: Through the Host Control Panel or the Top Navigation Bar. Both options are shown in the image below:
Note: Only Admins/Hosts and Presenters with admin privileges are able end the webinar
Once you click End Webinar, a confirmation screen will appear, asking you where you'd like to direct your attendees, and whether or not you'd like to send your presenters into a debrief room. A debrief room has to be set up prior to the webinar end time in order for your presenters to be re-directed properly.
Once the webinar is ended, attendees will land on the webinar landing page where they will be requested to provide your webinar a review.
Automatically ending the webinar
When you schedule a webinar, you can have it automatically close either by relying on the duration, or by automation.
When you reach the scheduled end time of a webinar, at first nothing will happen. BigMarker allows webinars to run at least one hour past the scheduled end time to avoid abrupt endings. Once you get close to that one hour mark, you'll get a warning and a countdown that the webinar will close soon. From there you can either end the webinar or extend the time that the webinar is open.
You can also automate the webinar, where the webinar will end at a specific time of your choosing. Whenever you enable the automation of a webinar, the ending of the webinar will always be automated unless you skip that step in the automation timeline.
