Yes, BigMarker works around the globe! But for an optimal experience, you will need to configure your channel and webinars to operate in your location. That being said, if people in China are experiencing issues after following the suggestions below, it might be necessary to use a VPN.
How can I change my channel's server?
First, set your channel's server to your closest location. Visit your host dashboard, then select Settings, located at the top of the page, then choose Global Profile
Scroll down until you see Server Location and select the geographical area closest to you. Depending on your location within China, choose East Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia (Seoul), or East Asia (Hong Kong). Changing this setting will make it the default location for all webinars created on the channel
How can I change the server of individual webinars?
Next, you will need to change the server of any webinars hosted by your channel. Once you create the webinar, navigate to its dashboard, then select the Edit tab (located on the top banner of the screen).
In the left-hand menu that appears, select Advanced Settings, then scroll down to Location.
How can I change my channel's display language?
BigMarker channels display in English by default. To change your display language, follow the steps provided here. Using these steps, you change your channel's display language to Mandarin and 50+ languages. But if you want to use a language that's not in our system, email support@bigmarker.com.
