How can I change my server's location?

Configure your channel and webinars to operate in a server location close to the majority of your audience for an optimal event experience

Using the classic admin? Click here to learn where you can find the server location settings.

When your presenters are connecting to your live session, you want to make sure they have the best possible experience and connection.  When configuring your session, you can select the server location your presenters will connect to.

While any server will provide a stable and reliable experience, choosing the one closest to your presenters ensures the most optimal connection and minimizes the chance of minor issues.

Note: If you have presenters, or have a session where all attendees will be located in Mainland China while attending the session, please reach out to your customer success manager. There are additional steps to be taken to ensure this works for your channel.

How can I change my channel's server?

First, set your channel's server to your closest location. Visit your host dashboard, then select Settings, located at the top of the page, then choose Global Profile

Scroll down until you see Server Location and select the geographical area closest to you. Depending on your location within China, choose East Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia (Seoul), or East Asia (Hong Kong). We recommend Southeast Asia. Changing this setting will make it the default location for all webinars created on the channel
