Register Attendees for Multiple Sessions and Events with One Registration Form

With a single custom registration field, you can register someone for additional separate sessions and events

Using the classic admin? Click here to learn where you can find settings for the separate webinar registration.

Using a single registration field, you can automatically enroll attendees in multiple webinars based on how they answer. This is a great way to streamline the process and minimize the number of times a single person needs to fill out a registration form.

You will first need two webinars, series or events. The first event will contain the registration form your users will fill out. The second will be that additional registration that is automatically applied.

To set this up in the new Session Admin, you need to create a registration field. Go to Basic Setup > Registration Fields .

After you start creating or editing a field, go in to the Settings and look for the setting Separate webinar registration dependent field. Once enabled, two additional settings will populate.

  • In the first setting, enter the answers registrants need to provide in order to register for the separate event.
  • In the second setting, use the drop down menu to select which event you would like the registrant to be registered for.  You can select as many as you like.

Now when registrants are registering for your main event, if they fill out this field with the matching value from the settings your configured they'll be registered for the sessions and events you selected from the dropdown above.

Quick tips when using this setting

  • If you are enabling this setting for a checkbox field, the responses appear as "false" for unchecked and "true" for checked
  • If you want to make sure all of your registrants will be registered for the additional event, you can make a hidden registration field, then set the default value to the matching. With this setup, no one will see the field, but they will all have the matching value and thus be registered for the additional content.

Separate session registration in the Session Admin

When configuring a registration field in the classic admin, you'll find this setting in the list of general settings. They'll work the same way as they do above.
