Learn how to integrate Google Analytics with BigMarker
Connect webinar landing pages with Google Analytics to learn more about your visitors. Just enter your Universal tracking code into BigMarker.
All you need to send information to Google Analytics from your BigMarker webinar, series or event is a universal analytics tracking ID. Look to the step below for how to get that ID and where to put it in the BigMarker platform:
1. Sign in to or create your Google Analytics account. Google Analytics is a free service you can link to an existing Google account you control.
When creating a Google analytics account, you will reach a step for Data Collection. In this step, select "Web" for your platform, then enter in the domain and assign it a stream name
Note: Depending on your channel, the domain you enter here could be something other than www.bigmarker.com
If you are unsure of your domain, contact your Customer Success Manager
2. Once your account and data stream is created, you'll have access to the Measurement ID. Copy this for use in the BigMarker dashboard.
If you get to the dashboard and did not copy it, you'll find it on display in the hero banner. You can copy it from here, or find it within the admin settings of the Google Analytics Dashboard.
In the admin settings, go to the Data Streams settings found under Data collection and modification
3. Go to the dashboard of your BigMarker webinar, series or event. Visit the Integrations section, then click on Google Analytics.
5. Enter the Measurement ID into the field labeled Google Analytics Tracking ID. If you want to set this as the default tracking ID for new webinars under this channel, check the box labeled Set as Default Key? Click Save to save these settings, and you're all set.
