How to Use Geo-fencing

Restrict your event's registration to only pre-approved geographic regions, allowing for local events or smaller meetings

Geo-fencing allows you to restrict registration for your event to users from pre-approved geographic regions. This is especially useful for local events or smaller meetings. Learn how to activate this feature below. 

Log into your webinar dashboard and select the Manage Webinar tab. In the left-hand menu below, select Geo-fencing. 

Use the left-side dropdown menu to select your desired geographic region. Use the right-side dropdown to allow or deny users from that geographic region access to your event. Click the add button to complete. Once added, allowed and denied regions will appear in a list below "Approved and denied regions." 

In the text box that follows, enter a short block message, which will be sent to any user from denied geographic regions. (Example: "Registration to this event is restricted to Puerto Rica residents only.")
