Keep your audience connected on the go. With audio broadcasting from your live room, attendees can tune in and listen from their mobile event app anytime, anywhere.
An option for the Companion App moving forward is setting an audio broadcast. In your Event Setup page, scroll down to Onsite Experiences on the left-hand navigation menu. Here, you'll find Mobile App. Select this option.
Select Audio Broadcast in the top menu. In this section, you have the option to Add a Broadcast.
Enter in the details of your Broadcast: Name, Background color, Broadcast Icon, etc. Then select a webinar to add to the broadcast and specify which session will get the audio.
From here, you can Save & Exit.
On the Mobile App, the experience for an attendee may look something like the below images.
When a broadcast is live, attendees will see a pop-up on the bottom of their screen. If there are multiple broadcasts happening at once, they can choose from a list of broadcasts.
This is a great way for attendees to listen in on live sessions - perhaps they're sitting too far away from the main stage, or they've stepped out for a moment. Attendees can still easily listen to content on their own device or through headphones.
NOTE: This feature is best enabled and set-up during the initial intake and app creation process.
