Add Event Notes to Your Channel

Write notes and keep track of progress updates for individual events as well as your entire channel.

Utilizing Event Notes is an easy way to keep track of progress updates and to have something on-platform that you can use for tracking all your event's important information.

There are three (3) ways you can use the Notes feature:

1. Client-Facing Notes: notes that can be seen by anyone that has access to the event, this includes staff and client users alike

2. Internal Notes: internal to BigMarker staff and admin only

3. Internal Channel Notes: notes that appear in all of the event dashboards linked on your channel.

The new Notes feature provides a simple yet powerful way to track progress updates and store important event details directly within the platform. By keeping all key information in one place, this tool enhances collaboration, improves efficiency, and ensures nothing gets lost in scattered emails or external documents.

To use this feature, navigate to your Events Dashboard. On the bottom left side of the screen, there is a purple notepad icon. Click the icon to leave a note.

From here, a text editor will appear. Click the Edit button in order to leave a note.

At the top, you can select which audience you'd like to leave your note for. There are simple formatting changes to the text you can make, which include text color, size, alignment, links, strikethrough and more. Highlight the text you wish you change and select your formatting option in order to implement the edit. If you'd like to leave a more detailed note and want to expand your area of work, you can select the four outward arrows at the top right side of the editor window. A full screen version of your note box will appear.

When you're finished, click Save. The note will then appear where you've designated in the note editor.

If the note is client-facing, the client will see a simpler version of the text box, minus the options to leave a note in "Internal Notes and "Internal Channel Notes."
