My screen sharing no longer works after I updated my Mac Operating System

Apple conducts continuous security updates for Mac operating systems. This could affect your ability to screen share properly. Therefore, you must continually check and ensure your operating system is enable correctly on your Mac.

To check to see if your screen sharing is enabled correctly on your Mac, check your privacy settings. To do this, click the Apple icon in the upper left-hand corner of the screen, then go to System Settings, then Privacy & Security. Scroll down on the left-hand side of the screen to Screen Recording. Check the box next to Chrome and Firefox. This should resolve the issue. You can also do the same for your Camera and Microphone.

If you are experiencing issues with your browser freezing when screen sharing (either on a Mac or Windows device) please update your computer's operating system or video adapters and video drivers to the latest version:
