With the Ping Identity integration, users will be prompted to sign in your Ping Identity application before viewing the landing page or live webinar room, and registration information can be imported into BigMarker in the process. The instructions here will show you how to connect an existing Ping Identity account to BigMarker. If you need assistance with creating a Ping Identity account, visit [https://support.pingidentity.com/](https://support.pingidentity.com/) ### Setting up the Ping Identity integration For either a webinar, series or event, the process will be the same. You will need to visit the [webinar/classic dashboard](https://kb.bigmarker.com/knowledge/the-manage-webinar-dashboard?hsLang=en) and click on **Integrations** in the header navigation. Scroll down and click on **Ping Identity.** ![](https://kb.bigmarker.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-07-2025-09-13-03-5507-PM.png?width=600&height=258&name=image-png-Apr-07-2025-09-13-03-5507-PM.png) Once you enable the integration, you will be presented with some read-only fields: **PingIdentity Application Callback URL** and **Audience URI**. You'll need to copy and paste the values you see in these fields into Ping Identity, so keep this window open once you get here. ![](https://kb.bigmarker.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-16-2025-06-01-10-3730-PM.png?width=600&height=399&name=image-png-Apr-16-2025-06-01-10-3730-PM.png) #### Syncing Ping Identity with BigMarker Log in to Ping Identity and visit the applications section. Create a new application and select **SAML Application** as the application type. ![](https://kb.bigmarker.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-16-2025-06-37-19-2759-PM.png?width=525&height=443&name=image-png-Apr-16-2025-06-37-19-2759-PM.png) In the next screen you will be asked to enter in the SAML Configuration. Selec **Manually Enter** and paste in the values from BigMarker. - ACS URL = Call Back URL - Entity ID = Audience URI ![](https://kb.bigmarker.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-16-2025-06-39-42-0875-PM.png?width=450&height=310&name=image-png-Apr-16-2025-06-39-42-0875-PM.png) Once you hit save on this screen, you will need to add the IDP metadata to BigMarker. In the Ping Identity application, look for the **Overview section** and scroll all the way to the bottom to find the **Download Metadata** button. ![](https://kb.bigmarker.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-16-2025-06-44-03-5203-PM.png?width=600&height=330&name=image-png-Apr-16-2025-06-44-03-5203-PM.png) Click on this to download the XML file. Go back to the BigMarker page for the integration and click on **Use IDP Metadata XML File** to upload the file. ### Additional BigMarker settings Once you complete the connection, your BigMarker content is now locked behind your Ping Identity SSO application. From here, there are a few settings to consider: #### Map BigMarker fields to Ping Identity App Metadata fields to import If you have information in Ping Identity for your users in the form of metadata, you can import that information into BigMarker. In this setting you'll paste in the names of the Ping Identity attributes on the right that will correspond with the BigMarker registration fields on the left. If a user logs in to Ping Identity, that information will be imported to BigMarker when they register. ![](https://kb.bigmarker.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-16-2025-06-46-13-8819-PM.png?width=600&height=291&name=image-png-Apr-16-2025-06-46-13-8819-PM.png) #### Guest access and registration behavior By default, all users whether they are guests or signed-in, will be able to see the landing page of your webinar. You can change this with the setting for **SSO Implementation**, and it can be set to require SSO login before viewing the landing page. With this chosen, guests are immediately redirected away to the SSO login page if they go to the BigMarker landing page. Additionally, you can make it so users that sign in from this process will get automatically registered by turning on **Auto Register**.
