Use Spotlight and Pin Camera to feature and highlight specific presenters

Control which presenters your audience can see with Camera Pin

When multiple presenters and promoted attendees are on camera, the stream can feel cluttered. With Camera Pin you can spotlight selected presenters, making them appear larger on screen while keeping the focus exactly where you want it.

Additionally, you have the ability to Spotlight an individual presenter, showcasing them for a time before you return to the regular group of presenters

Spotlight Cameras

Pin Camera

When you pin a camera during a webinar, it will enlarge the selected camera over all the other active cameras. If you are simultaneously sharing cameras and a slideshow or video, only the cameras that have been pinned will appear beside the content. You can also pin any number of presenters to ensure that everyone is seen by your audience.

To pin a presenter's camera during a live event or webinar, simply click on the three dots on the bottom right-hand corner of their image. Select Manage Camera, then Pin for everyone.

When a camera has been pinned during a live presentation, that individual's camera box will appear beside the content being shared, as shown in the Audience View box in the image below. You can confirm a camera is pinned by locating the pin icon in the top left corner of the presenter's camera box.

In the below image, two presenters have been pinned, which is reflected in the Audience View box:

To unpin a person's camera, click on the pin icon next to their name, or look for Unpin for everyone in the same 3-dot menu as before.

If you plan on having attendees be on camera but don't want them in the recording, you can choose to automatically pin all presenter cameras to ensure that. Visit the Manage Webinar settings to find this under presenter permissions

Spotlight Cameras

In addition to pinning cameras, you have the ability to Spotlight an individual presenter. Doing this will focus on just one presenter at a time, enlarging that camera over all others.

Look for the Spotlight icon in the top left corner of the presenter camera.

Just lke the Camera Pin, clicking on this Icon will focus on this presenter, enlarging the camera and only showing them to the audience if other content is also showing. Instead of the pin icon, you can click the spotlight icon again to remove the spotlight.

If you already had presenters pinned, when you remove the spotlight the presenters who have been pinned will return. With these features together you can curate a set of your presenters to be front-and-center, while allowing individual experts to take the stage during a specific time of your session.
