Refund, Cancellation and Subscription Policies

Free Trials

Newly created BigMarker accounts include a 7-day free trial. Free trials are not paid plans and DO NOT REQUIRE A PAYMENT METHOD. Free trials may not include certain paid or premium features, integrations, enterprise, or white label options. These features can cannot be tested or accessed during a free trial without explicit permission from BigMarker. If you are unsure whether a feature is available during the trial, or would like to test a specific feature not included in the trial, please contact sales@bigmaker.com or support@bigmarker.com

Similarly, if you upgrade to any paid plan during the 7-day free trial period, your free trial ends immediately. No refunds will be provided to accounts upgraded then canceled during the 7 day trial period. No exceptions. Do not purchase or upgrade to a paid plan during the 7 day free trial to test unavailable features. If you want to test a specific feature or extend your trial, please contact sales@bigmarker.com or support@bigmaker.com.

Each account is limited to one 7-day free trial plan. Any additional channel plans created during or after the initial plan creation do not include a free trial. Similarly, a free trial cannot be paused or reinstated if any subscription plan is canceled or downgraded before the initial trial period has ended.  Similarly, it is your responsibility to evaluate BigMarker, including its features, limitations, and system requirements, during the 7-day free trial and before selecting any paid plan. BigMarker will not issue refunds to customers on the basis of customers not understanding the system requirements, or the presence of compatibility issues, including inadequate internet speed or consistency, or incompatible devices, operating systems, or browser software versions. System incompatibility based on system requirements should be tested during the 7-day free trial.


Fees, Refunds, and Charges

Subscription Fees.

Client (BigMarker channel administrator) shall pay for all subscription fees, and hereby authorizes BigMarker (and its payment processors) to debit Client’s bank account or charge Client’s credit card, as stated on Client’s channel subscription and billing page. The client agrees that all subscriptions are recurring and will renew automatically. The client shall also be solely responsible for paying and remitting to the appropriate tax authorities all applicable taxes (withholding tax, sales tax, services tax, value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), etc.) or duties imposed by any government entity or collecting agency except those taxes based on BigMaker’s net income. In the event Client fails to satisfy its tax and/or duty obligations herein, Client shall reimburse BigMarker upon demand for any taxes and/or duties paid on behalf of Client and shall defend, indemnify and hold BigMarker harmless against any claim and/or liability (including penalties) resulting from Client’s failure to pay such taxes and/or duties.


Cancellation Policy.

Client (BigMarker channel administrator) acknowledges that all subscription fees are charged automatically on a recurring basis until the Client cancels their channel subscription (both month-to-month and annual plans). The client may cancel their subscription by logging into their BigMarker Account and going to the applicable channel or billing page, clicking settings, and choosing the “Change” or "Cancel" options under subscription and billing. A confirmation email receipt is sent to the Client with the expiration date of the subscription. The client can learn how to cancel, delete, or update their account.  Please keep in mind that you are solely responsible for properly canceling your account. You must email support before the payment due date listed with your account plan's billing page. However, you can also contact support if you are having difficulty or need help. 

For monthly dues being paid within a Channel, you must contact the administrator of the channel to have you removed from the channel, cancel your account, or unsubscribe from the channel. 



All BigMarker subscriptions include a 7-day free trialAfter you upgrade to a paid plan, your free trial period is over immediately, and the chosen plan is billed in advance then on a recurring monthly or annual basis and is non-refundable; no refunds will be issued. BigMarker does not offer multiple free trials to the same account, nor prorated refunds for canceled subscription plans. There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for months unused with an open account. In order to treat everyone equally, no exceptions will be made. 

All subscriptions, both month-to-month and annual plans, are recurring and will automatically renew after the end of each paid subscription period. As such, all plans will continue to be charged unless cancelation has been requested before the next payment date. It is the sole responsibility of the account administrator to keep track of a plan's next billing date. The next payment date can be found within the billing section of the channel settings. 

Furthermore, BigMarker does not offer prorated refunds for canceled subscriptions. All subscriptions are recurring and will automatically renew after the end of each paid subscription period. This includes both month-to-month and annual plans. The next payment date is listed within the billing section of each channel plan. It is the account administrator's responsibility to keep track of each payment cycle and next billing date. 

BigMarker’s Refund Policy for Annual Plans.

BigMarker is committed to the success of our customers, but through experience, we have found that users have varying requirements, capabilities, and limitations with regard to the types of devices and software they can use, the way their local network is configured, the speed of their internet connection, etc.

These issues will certainly impact a customer’s ability to use BigMarker as it is intended.

Accordingly, BigMarker offers a 7-day Free Trial and is happy to extend the trial period for users who need more time to evaluate our software and its compatibility with their specific environment. Once you upgrade your account to a paid plan, your free trial is over whether the 7 day period has been reached. 

BigMarker also offers a Month-to-Month Subscription Plan, which allows customers to upgrade, downgrade, and cancel at any time without penalty. We recommend this option for most customers, especially those that do not have full certainty or control over their technology environment.

Finally, BigMarker offers an Annual Subscription Plan at a significant discount. We recommend this plan for customers who are certain that BigMarker is compatible with their environment. It is your responsibility to evaluate BigMarker, including its features, limitations, and system requirements before selecting the Annual Plan.

If you are not certain that BigMarker is a fit for your use case and environment, then you should not choose the Annual Plan.

BigMarker will not issue refunds to Annual Plan customers on the basis of customers not understanding the system requirements, or the presence of compatibility issues, including inadequate internet speed or consistency, or incompatible devices, operating systems, or browser software versions.

If you choose the Annual Plan, you are entering into yearly subscription contract that automatically renews every 12 months unless canceled before the next payment date. You are solely responsible for paying for the entire subscription and for canceling the account before the next schedule payment date listed within the billing section of your plan. If you decide to cancel before the term of your subscription is up, your account will not be prorated, discounted, or refunded. If you have chosen an installment plan, you must complete all three installment payments included in your annual installment billing cycle (three payments every four months). If you do cancel the account early, you have full access to its benefits until it expires.

Third-Party Charges.

Client shall directly pay the fees and charges for all third party vendors whose services Client uses in connection with the Services (e.g., internet access providers, telephone carriers, etc.). In addition to any fees charged by BigMarker, BigMarker reserves the right to charge the Client for any regulatory or governmental fees, contributions, or other charges that are legally required or assessed.
