Easily add multiple languages worth of content with one quick upload
The settings here use the Custom Page Designer, which is available to Enterprise Customers and above. For more information contact sales@bigmarker.com or your customer success manager.
When you are editing your custom page, editor fields allow you to easily change and update content on the page without needing to know how to code. However, after a custom page has been implemented you may have a lot of editor fields that can be cumbersome to update individually.
Additionally, you may have localization enabled, giving you the ability to provide multiple translations for each editor field. This can make updating those fields individually that much more difficult.
Now you can easily update all of your editor fields at once for each of your localization languages with a single CSV file. To begin, click on Bulk Edit Via CSV at the top of your editor field list. From here you'll be able to download a template CSV, or upload a new one.
The CSV template you download will contain all of the text-based editor fields that are currently in your custom page. Each row will be an editor field, while each column will be for each localization language. Update this file with your new values, but don't change the arrangement of the columns and rows. Keeping the template intact will make uploading much easier.
Once ready with your file, click on Upload CSV and then upload your file. Once uploaded, you will be able to manually select which column corresponds to which localization language. If you have not changed the arrangement of the template, these options will be pre-selected correctly, and you can just proceed with the upload.
If you are using the template unchanged, be sure to check The first fow of the file is a header row
Once you upload this file, you're all set. All of your editor fields will be updated with the values from your spreadsheet.
