[Hardware and Device Troubleshooting](https://kb.bigmarker.com/knowledge/getting-started?hsLang=en#hardware-and-device-troubleshooting) # Getting Error Message: "Your microphone is not receiving any audio input." ## If you receive a "Your microphone is not receiving any audio input," follow the troubleshooting steps below If you are getting this warning the your microphone is recognized and allowed to be used by BigMarker, but nothing is coming through. While this may be a fault of system settings, it's important to check your devices for any **mute button. **This may be on the microphone, headset, or even on your keyboard. After confirming that no mute buttons are active, try switching browsers, wi-fi networks or plugging in directly to your internet source via ethernet.
