When you first load the page you'll see settings for the **Player**. Here you are able to adjust the colors used throughout the player and the thumbnail shown before the video plays. #### Player Settings Before we go over the other options we see, let's take a look at the settings that are available for the player. In the bottom-most option you'll find the **Settings** where you have a few different options: - **Allow video auto play** - **Allow video loop play** - **Maximum viewer playback amount**  - limit the amount of playbacks a viewer is allowed. If set to 0, then the amount will be unlimited - **Always start video from the beginning** - **Allow viewers to seek and skip ahead** - this will show or hide the ability to skip around in the video timeline ![](https://kb.bigmarker.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-07-2026-04-13-19-4235-PM.png?width=600&height=284&name=image-png-Oct-07-2026-04-13-19-4235-PM.png) ### Video Editor **Note**: The ability to edit the video (in the section below) is for Enterprise and Event Packages plan holders. If interested, please contact our Events Experts at sales@bigmarker.com  Use the video editor to trim your video, remove clips, and add transitions. Once your edits are complete, you can download the edited video, use it to replace the session's existing video, or both. The video editor uses the same interface as the recording studio. [Click here](https://kb.bigmarker.com/knowledge/recording-studio#edit) for detailed instructions on editing your video. ### ![](https://kb.bigmarker.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-07-2026-04-25-49-2314-PM.png?width=600&height=343&name=image-png-Oct-07-2026-04-25-49-2314-PM.png) ### Chapters If you have the [Content Studio](https://kb.bigmarker.com/knowledge/turn-your-webinar-into-a-content-engine-with-the-content-studio?hsLang=en) available on your channel, you'll be able to manage your chapters here in the edit player settings. While it won't have all of the same features of the content studio, you'll be able to adjust timestamps, rename and remove your chapters. You'll also have a quick link that can take you to the Content Studio where you can fully configure your chapters. ![](https://kb.bigmarker.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-07-2026-05-46-43-3814-PM.png?width=600&height=314&name=image-png-Oct-07-2026-05-46-43-3814-PM.png) ### Interactive Features After you configure your design and content, you are ready to choose how your viewers will engage with the player itself. In the **Interactive** settings, you'll see options for what controls viewers have with the player, as well as what features are available for people to interact with. This includes: - Playback controls and speed - Showing either the [survey](https://kb.bigmarker.com/knowledge/how-do-i-add-a-post-event-webinar-survey?hsLang=en) or [assessment](https://kb.bigmarker.com/knowledge/quiz-your-audience-with-assessments?hsLang=en) at the end of the video - Which of your features in the player drawer to open by default - And a few separate features you can enable: #### Adding Chats Within the player you can have a chat replay that will simulate the experience of being in a live session. In this replay you can show either the live chats that were made during the session, or an automated list of chat messages.  **Note:** To learn more about adding automated chats to your recordings, click [here](https://kb.bigmarker.com/knowledge/how-to-edit-automated-chats-in-the-video-player-for-on-demand-webinars?hsLang=en).  In the interactive settings, click on the **Chats** tab to get started. 2\. You can enable on or off: - **Live chats** - the viewer will see the live chats from the webinar - **Automated chats** - the viewer will see the automated chats you created - **Show timestamps** - chats will have the timestamp of when they were submitted - **When the Chat Drawer is closed, display Chat Bubbles over the video** - if the Chat Drawer is closed, the chats will appear as bubbles over the video ![](https://kb.bigmarker.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-07-2026-05-51-22-0027-PM.png?width=600&height=332&name=image-png-Oct-07-2026-05-51-22-0027-PM.png) #### Adding Handouts Just like you can do in your live session, [handouts](https://kb.bigmarker.com/knowledge/handouts-on-bigmarker-share-resources-with-your-audience?hsLang=en) are a great way to share additional resources and information with your audience. While you can configure handouts specifically for your on-demand player, and handouts that you upload to your live session are automatically available for you to configure here as well. Click on **Handouts** within the Interactive section to get started. Viewers can click the handout icon in the recording to download or be redirected to the handout. Set up who receives those emails [within the Session Admin](https://kb.bigmarker.com/knowledge/how-can-i-set-up-an-sms-relay-on-bigmarker#email-notifications-qa) **Note:** Any Q&A submitted during the on-demand recording will be included in the transcript. You can customize what your Q&A form will ask viewers to better align with your on-demand recording or live event. You can edit the form's title, subtitle, first and last name text, question text and CTA button text. ![](https://kb.bigmarker.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-07-2026-06-01-46-1923-PM.png?width=300&height=424&name=image-png-Oct-07-2026-06-01-46-1923-PM.png) ### Automated Features Like live sessions, On-Demand Webinars support automated engagement features. You can configure offers, polls, and quizzes to appear at specific points during video playback, controlling when viewers see each one. As you add content to this automation, you'll see it in a timeline that you can easily configure. Individually enable automation items, or quickly edit and delete the existing ones. Click on **Add Automation** to get started. ![](https://kb.bigmarker.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-07-2026-06-19-07-0457-PM.png?width=300&height=291&name=image-png-Oct-07-2026-06-19-07-0457-PM.png)   #### Adding Polls Just like polls in a [live session](https://kb.bigmarker.com/knowledge/short-answer-polls-now-include-real-time-results-for-attendees-and-hosts?hsLang=en), on-demand polls are a great way to gain insight form your audience without too much distraction. When you add a poll to an on-demand player you are only able to make a multiple-choice poll. Once you create your poll questions you will enter in the start and stop times you would like the poll to appear and disappear at. Polls will appear as overlays over your video. With offers, you can control the content, design, and the exact timestamp the offer is shown to viewers. Offers have two main types, full and slide out. These questions will cause the video to pause and force registrants to answer a question before they are able to restart the playback.  ![](https://kb.bigmarker.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-07-2026-06-30-32-5243-PM.png?width=300&height=493&name=image-png-Oct-07-2026-06-30-32-5243-PM.png) Unlike polls, they'll have a correct answer, though users will be able to continue watching regardless of their answer. here, the user checked off two correct answers but ont the third. You can create a live webinar and add your desired customizations to the on-demand video player (using the steps above) or create a live webinar template and add customizations then. Once you save this template, you can easily use the same logo, colors, graphics, etc. for future live-to-on-demand sessions without needing to create and design another on-demand video player. **Note:** The video present in the **Edit Recording Player** tabwill be switched out once the Live Webinar is converted to On-Demand. #### How do I delete my Recording? By default, all recorded webinars become On-Demand webinars. To delete a recorded webinar completely, click the three dot menu in the top-right andthen **Delete Session**. ![](https://kb.bigmarker.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-04-2026-03-39-57-1868-PM.png?width=600&height=279&name=image-png-Jun-04-2026-03-39-57-1868-PM.png) If you don't want to delete the recording, you can also **Unpublish** the recording so that it's only available to admins on the dashboard.
