Complying with DSAR and data deletion requests

Learn how to manage your registrants data across the entire channel

To comply with GDPR, CCPA and other privacy laws and policies, BigMarker gives you the ability to export complete information on any given registrant on your channel, and also delete that registrant's data upon request.

Deleting Registrant Data

Navigate to your Channel Profile Settings and select All Registrants in the left hand navigation menu. In this page you'll see a list of everyone who has registered to any page on your channel. Search for the registrant in question, click the 3-dot menu next to their name, and click Manage.

In the screen that follows, select Delete Data from the top menu. Click delete to remove all data associated with that registrant.

Once you've selected Delete Data, another screen will appear, confirming your selection.

IMPORTANT: Once you confirm the data deletion, the action cannot be undone and the registrant's data will be completely deleted across your channel. This is an unrecoverable action.

This action will delete all data associated with a specific email address. If a registrant used more than one email address to register for your content, then those will need to be deleted individually.

Complying with DSAR Requests

Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) is a request made by a registrant to access their data held by BigMarker. To fulfill these requests go to the Lists and Emails section of the home dashboard and select the three dots next to the individual you'd like to manage. Click on DSAR Request to continue.

If the registrant appears on multiple channels you manage, you can decide which data will be included in this export. Select which channels you'd like to remove data from and select Run Query.

Once the query is finished, you can copy, download or delete the data associated with this registrant.
